Mrs. Lloyd

Terri Lloyd teaches Business Education at ORHS and is the Producer for ORHS Masquers, Assistant Director of the Fall Play, Coordinator of Atomic Acts and Advises The Officers, The Founding Fathers & Newsies.

Terri Lloyd traveled all over the United States and internationally singing, dancing, and acting, while also serving as stage crew, business manager, artistic director, and/or team captain with a musical theatre touring company. She is the Graphic Designer for The WordPlayers and has multiple credits directing, acting, and costuming their productions. Mrs. Lloyd taught gifted education at the elementary schools in Oak Ridge from 2014-2022. She enjoys getting the opportunity to work with many former students again, this time on stage.

Matthew Lloyd

Matthew Lloyd has been doing theatre since he was an ORHS Wildcat, doing three shows with Masquers - many, many years ago - and has experience in almost every aspect of the art. He has appeared on stage in over 50 productions and directed 25 productions with several different companies, including last year's The Lightning Thief. Most recently he has been working with The WordPlayers, a faith-based company in Knoxville, where he has been involved in 57 productions, either as an actor, director, stage manager, or designer. Matthew is excited to be continuing with Masquers as Technical Director for all the productions and the Director for Anastasia!!

Mrs. M

Rochelle Meylink is the Costume Manager

and advisor of the Fixer Uppers.

Mrs. M graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading Literacy. Most of her teaching years have been overseas where she directed several musicals and plays including Once on This Island, Fame, Annie, Seussical, Pirates Past Noon, and several other plays and talent shows. Directing overseas included training student managers, creating costumes, building sets, creating props, sound/lights, teaching music….she has pretty much dabbled in it all, including teaching a middle school drama class in Almaty, Kazakhstan. You can contact her at rmeylink@gmail.com for more information.

Dr. Mo

Dr. Sheila Morton teaches English at Oak Ridge High School

and is delighted to be the advisor for the Glue Dots (Props).

Dr. Morton moved to Oak Ridge in 2019 with her husband and two young children (future Masquers?), and became involved with the Masquers program in the fall of 2020.

In her younger years, Dr. Morton was involved with theatre in junior high and high school, both as a performer and helping with set. She loved theatre so much that she decided to do her first master’s degree and her Ph.D. in dramatic literature with a secondary emphasis in dramaturgy. She even studied theatre in London for two semesters! While her history is mostly rooted in the play-as-text, she is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the actual production process, and loves helping Oak Ridge Masquers bring these texts to life on the stage.

Dr. Pickel

Dr. Deanna Pickel is running the Masquers' Box Office and helps to sponsor the Newsies & the Beggars.

Dr. Deanna Pickel has been teaching Mathematics at Oak Ridge High School since 2013, and lives in Oak Ridge with her husband, two children and goldendoodle. Dr. Pickel has been involved with Masquers since 2020, playing in the pit in the Masquer’s productions of The Little Mermaid and Into the Woods. This year Dr. Pickel is running the Masquers’ Box Office, and hopes to be playing in the pit again soon.

Amy Uptgraft

Amy Uptgraft (Director) is an actor, director, playwright, as well as the founder and artistic director of The Veteran’s Spouse Project. Amy grew up in Indiana and received her BA in theatre performance from Purdue University, and additionally trained in New York City with the Public Theater in their Shakespeare Lab. Amy has written two plays, Ridge Where They Cry and I Will Wait, which has been produced all over the country.  Amy was a proud military spouse for 21 years before her husband, LTC (R) Jamie Uptgraft retired from the Army. Amy, Jamie and their four children moved to Oak Ridge, TN to put down some roots. Amy owes so much to her assistant director, Terri Lloyd for her wide, open heart and deep wealth of knowledge and talent, Tyler Davis for his patience and professionalism, the entire Masquers adult staff for taking this wild ride with her (especially her in-laws, Gigi and Papa!), her husband and kids for the bottomless love and endless support, and lastly, to these incredibly talented kids who make up Masquers. It has been a complete honor and joy to do this work with them!!
